Virgin Flights

I have just noticed that in the brochure, virgin don't mention the free ice creams anymore. Are they still doing this? We had it in 2008, thought they still did it, does anyone know?

We had them when we flew out on 24th May. I know I've read that that are making cut backs.

making cut backs so they can afford the commercial on TV celebrating 25 years ,you know the one , with the air hostesses walking throught the terminal;
(nice legs , poor commercial)
TV comercials cost mega bucks, i just hope i don`t notice any cut back when i travel with Virgin in September.
11 years ago when i 1st went to WDW Virgin were thought of many to be the exceptional cross atlantic airline.
although i`m fine going with Virgin i believe their popularity has declined somewhat from what i read on Dibb .

We had the ice creams on the 16th May, but no pretzels with the drinks there or back. Plus the planes have definately seen better days and that was in pe.

Personally, I wouldn't be worried over a little ice cream. If they serve it, great, if they don't, no bother.

Virgins prices are now comparible, if not cheaper, to many other airlines so to expect them to be better than anyone else is not realistic.

TV advertising is a powerful tool .. ice cream is not.
