The physio was much more thorough. He checked J's reflexes, felt up and down both the spine and muscles, and he also checked J's strength. He had J clenching is fists, pushing into the physio to ensure there were no areas of weakness etc. He spent a good half hour checking J. over. These sames checks were also done in A&E (I had rang 111 one night to see what I could do to help the pain and they rang for an ambulance).

Whereas the pediatrican must have spent about 3 minutes looking at him. It was so quick, I didn't realise she'd finished.

Yes they do all that with me but surprising what they see when they do them movements I found the physio better than my consultant to they actually found more out for me

My son has had serious back problems since birth and at 16 is now confined to a wheelchair with chronic pain. So hope your son gets better soon. As for mobility in the parks you have several options. As mentioned earlier you can hire a wheelchair on the day. Or if you are staying in a Disney Hotel they have loan wheelchairs for free. Alternatively you could contact your local Red Cross and hire for a small fee a wheelchair and take it with you. Don't forget to book assistance at the airports if you have a wheelchair or not.
