Thomson increasing bill after being paid in full ?

Not my day today

Just logged onto our manage my booking info with Thompson (just being nosey really as I wanted to see how much extra for PE)

We booked and paid in full in early Sept, took a print out at the time saying paid in full. So was shocked to see amount outstanding £15 (not much I know) but I have the print out saying paid in full.

So have been in touch with Thompson, they THINK it is an increase on the pre select your seats which seems to have gone up in price since we've booked. The very quiet man said he couldn't deal with it tonight, will have to email others in Thompson and hopefully we can come to some resolution (know what my resolution is thankyou- why should I pay more ) I shouldn't have to pay more if they have increased the prices for selecting your seats- should I ?

Thanks

Me too! I booked my flights last week and logged on to find a balance due of £18 within 2 days! I have the email that says I have paid in full and have a balance of £0. So to hell if Im paying any more to them!

Id like to hear if anyone has had the same problem with them too!

If there are three of you on the booking, it will likely be the £5 increase in advance passenger duty.

They can pass on increases on taxes etc.

I'd stick to the point that seeing as you have evidence that says you've paid in full, you're not refusing to pay it as such, just wanting clarification of what they are now asking you to pay for. It at least buys you time

Thomson now have a Facebook page- one of the complaints on there is about the price of a holiday dropping substantially after being booked during a supposed 'sale'.The response is that once you have paid the price is frozen so you are not affected by rises or falls - it might be worth mentioning your plight on the FB page- they tend to react more quickly on a public forum!
