is tax included or added to fuel?

a silly question , but is tax already included in fuel or is added like normal sales tax?

Yes, you just pay the shop the amount you want $20, and when you pump the gas in you automatically stops at $20, so its not $20 +tax

that's cool, i'm just trying to budget for fuel (well as much as you can budget for it! ) and i couldn't remember whether it was included or not, so thank you xxx
