The Girls and Gee do DLP - Pre-Trip Report

The story so far...

Rachel (Beaker7929) and Anna (Blondie1979) have been best friends for 23 years.


Last Day of High School - 1996

Having previously visited Disneyland Paris together once before in 2012 they knew that it was written in the stars that they would travel together again. Not being ones to mess with destiny, in August last year Eurostar tickets were purchased then in October 2 rooms at the Cheyenne were booked along with the free dining plan... that's when the countdown began...

Rachel and Anna



This will be Rachel's 5th, and Anna's 6th visit to the Parisian house of mouse. Both are most looking forward to riding Ratatouille and partaking in several cookies and hot chocolates in the cable car bakery, even if the weather is nice!

Chloe (14) and Charlotte (13)



Seen here on their first trip to DLP together in 2012, Chloe (Rachel's DD) and Charlotte (Anna's DD) have done a lot of growing up over the last 3 years.



But not so much that they would turn down the opportunity to go back to their happy place!

Both are gutted that Haunted Mansion is closed for the duration of our stay, but they are both sure that Ratatouille will more than make up for it.

Gerard (4, nearly 5)



Gerard (also known as 'Gee', Rachel's DS) is the only boy on this trip as the other halves weren't invited This is his 2nd visit and he is most looking forward to riding Buzz and IASW...again and again and again... and meeting his hero, Spider-Man.

The Plan!

We all hit the road on Saturday 28th March, travelling to Ashford to stay the night at the Premier Inn Ashford North, before boarding the Eurostar at Ashford International the following day.

We are staying for 3nts/4days, with the free dining plan included.

Daily Schedule...

Sunday
- Arrive around 2pm, drop the bags and get straight into the Disneyland Park
- Dinner at Annette's on our way back to the hotel to check-in
- Early night!

Monday
- EMH - if we're up early enough
- Disneyland Park all day
- Billy Bob's for dinner around 6pm
- Cocktails at the Disneyland Hotel
- Back into the park for Dreams!

Tuesday
- EMH in Disneyland Park then...
- Studios for the rest of the day
- Dinner at Cafe Mickey at 5.30pm

Wednesday (last day )
- Pick of the best from both parks
- Late lunch at Plaza Gardens
- Head off to the Eurostar at 5pm

To say we're all excited would be an understatement! We'll both be doing trip reports on our return which we hope you will enjoy
