Flight timing

My inward flight arrives 7.25am (virgin atlantic from orlando,terminal 2). I would like to catch the flybe flight to Edinburgh at 10.55,is this feasible with 2 kids + wife in tow. Flybe is out of terminal 3,how far is this?

I am a bit confused - are you talking about Terminal 3 at Heathrow?

From what I remember Virgin form Orlando lands at Gatwick (South) and Flybe goes from there too.

I think you might want to double check your airports - I have had through flights from Orlando via Gatwick with Virgin/FlyBe to Aberdeen with a 90 minute window and no problems as Virgin send the bags straight through and all you need to do is check in.

Sorry that should be for Manchester. Afraid as I have already booked VA that I have to check in my baggage myself with Flybe.

Yes, so long as VS flight is not greatly delayed this should be easy

Unless you can persude the VS staff at MCO (or DTD) to check your bags right through to EDI you will need to go landside, which means (obviously) that you cannot use the airside transfer arrangements. Here is some info re transferring at MAN oneworld/ow/airports-...map/manchester
