Cinema at Universal Studios

Has anyone been to it? If so what is it like? I may take the family to see the new Turtles film when I am in Orlando.

Thanks

I went last time I was out there and it was very good. Much better than the local cinemas here. Only issue I had was the popcorn selection was buttered or salted only. Blurgh!

Might be completely different now though. It was 2009 when I went...

Yes we do it every time and combine it with a meal deal...not sure what they call it now. It means you can eat at some of the restaurants and get a cinema ticket thrown in. Last time we went to Bubba Gumps and it was good value.
The cinema itself is clean and I think the seats are really big!

Yes we have been once, it was rather good and from what I can remember, you get given an empty cup and you can go choose which soda you want from a cool touch screen machine. I believe (like anywhere in the US), you can go back and get refills. I didnt like the selection of popcorn, so we had nachos which were just like any other nachos you get at baseball games etc.

It is a really good cinema - we went to see the last Harry Potter film there and then went straight to the Hogwarts in Universal - brilliant
