Out here now and having problems.
Transferred money from main card to family and friends card to use at ATM, had email confirmation but the amount not showing. It only has the available balance as what was on it before we transferred money this morning. Anyone else had this, it's usually pretty much instant but it's been hours!

Have used them for years and never had any trouble getting cash from an ATM.

We honestly never had a problem while over there but did while still at home and have to say their customer service was useless. I would not want a problem while away because I would have no faith in them at all, they need to up their game. Over time we will probably just go back to using our debit card which has never given us an issue.

I would say to anyone though still bring your debit card and/ or credit card. For one you can double check if it's the ATM but you also have a back up.
the top up cards are the way it's going to go for those not comfortable using their other cards although I still think people worry too much about using cards they use every week at home.

Sorry for late update. Fairfx emailed us back on Sunday pm and stated that our card had been ' reset'
No problems since then but did not dare go near an ATM- bit of a shame really as thet is the idea of these cards having the flexibility of drawing cash if needed.
We were short of money for 2days while it was sorted but on the plus side we had more to spend on shopping for the last few days

We were explaining our situation to a cashier in a store and they said that chip and pin will be widespread throughout the USA soon so should not be a problem then

Hi Pumba75,

The rollback only impacts the ATM's at WDW so rest assured that your card is no less secure now than it was before.

Would be better if card providers gave a list of machines not to use until the problem is sorted in the USA. Plus a dedicated 24 hour phone line that they promise to answer.
I would not use Fairfx again until I hear they answer the phones 24/7 and sort out problems. Would hate to be in a situation of no money and having to email the company.

Hi Myaquarium, as confirmed earlier in the thread and on this post (http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/show...ghlight=fairfx), there is no reason why you should be experiencing any ATM issues with your FAIRFX card at the moment, so you don't have to avoid any ATM's.
