Alamo Pick up at 6pm Flight lands at 3 (Ish) pm

Just done the online check in and it states the pick up is 6pm but we should be landing at about 3:30 Ish so will I get charged for an extra day ?

As long as you drop the car off at around the same time of day then you will be fine, they work out the cost in blocks of 24 hours although I think Alamo will give you around 30mins grace period for a late return (check your T&C's for details).
If your flight arrives on time at 3:30 you will need to get off the plane, pass through immigrations, retrieve your luggage, pass through customs and then catch the monorail to the main terminal which will probably take you a good hour. If you have opted to place your luggage on the belt to the main terminal you will have to wait again for them to re-appear over there before finding your way to the garage to select your car. By the time you have chosen a car, checked it over and familiarised yourselves with the controls you will be looking at around exiting the garage at around 5pm (unless you are flying premium or first class in which case you might be out of the garage within 30 minutes which I have managed once)
Make a not of the time you exit the garage as that is the time they will expect the car back to avoid extra charges.

The time that you are processed out of the garage should be written on your contract.

See totally no issues you will in all reality drop off before your collection time, so no worries.
