Chafing... Yes you read that right

So I've been thinking about this for months but never seen anything mentioned. I'm not an overly massive girl size 14/16 bottoms, but I do get the chub rub on holiday. Anybody else battle this? And how did they conquer it?
I'm off in 28 days so June will obviously be very warm and it's my 1st time in Florida. What's the tricks to stop the run pain? And is it far too warm to wear a wee short pair of leggings under the shorts?

there is a balm that you can get (like a deodorant roll-on) to stop the rubbing and chafing i totally get this too if i'm wearing a dress

Silky underwear from lush worked wonders for me. Just put in on and no chaffing.

Deodrant seems to work or a bit of vasaline,or talc

I get this ( although where I live we call it scargies&#128512 .i lie flat on the bed and dh rubs some hydrocortisone cream on it.highlight of his holiday 😜

I go in July each year and I always were my knee length leggings. Means no chaffing! Plus I'm a few sizes bigger than you!
