Whats going on with US Airways prices?
We flew with US Airways in September and thought they were great and very reasonably priced.
We've been looking for flights for Aug/Sept next year and US Airways were looking not too bad but all of a sudden their prices have jumped to over £3500 EACH for standard seats. Is there something wrong with their system, surely this can't be right?

Have you tried clearing your cookies and internet history? I've posted about this a few times but everytime you search for a flight (and mostly the same dates etc.) the website will "log" that you're looking and it's well known that airlines then use this to jump the price up to make you think "omg I better book now before it gets any higher!". It happened to myself before we booked our flights as I was constantly searching.

Ah that's really interesting, I've never heard of that before.
I'll give that a go. Thanks.

I clear my cookies before I do any searches on the internet. I have priced flights at one price gone back 10 mins latter and they had jumped £100. When I cleared my cookies and went back in the price had gone back to the original price

Also, this price-jumping seems to happen with US Airways. I have seats booked for next Easter and am trying to get another one for our son, who has now decided to come with us. Some days the prices are around £665, and then I might look the next and they are at £1300! The next day they are back at £665. I'm sure they must have a system glitch.

Its always worth trying for flights via another agent ie opodo , netflights , etc , we did this for our flights for next easter , us airways web page were way over the top but then we found us airways flights via netflights 5 adults = £1500

Also it maybe related to US Airways suspending flights to/from Gatwick & Birmingham which I read about the other week from the start of next year.
