Thoughts on our itinery please - booking ADR's 2moro
Hi there,
well the date has finally arrived to make our ADR's and after looking at the magic hours and show times I think our itinery is final. Can anyone offer any advice or changes or just say it is fine! Looking at the ADR's I am hoping to get what do you think are my chances and is there any you would avoid? 1st timers - myself, DP & DD (9) 11th Sep - arrive 4.20pm 12th Sep - AM Magic Kingdom, ADR Lunch at Cinderellas Castle 1.30pm, Afternoon to rest (or explore resort or DTD if not too tired) 13th sep - Animal Kingdom AM/PM, ADR Boma 6pm 14th sep - Typhoon Lagoon AM/PM, ADR California Grill 7.30pm (watch wishes they are on at 9pm) 15th Sep - Epcot AM, afternoon free time to rest & no ADR today 16th Sep - Collect car AM, days shopping/pool, ADR Yachtsman Steakhouse 8pm 17th Sep - AM Studios, ADR Mama Melrose (or Sci Fi cant decide) 2pm, PM Studios Fantasmic 8pm 18th Sep - Busch Gardens all day - eat off site 19th sep - AM free, 3pm Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique for DD @ DTD then onto Epcot Royal Banquet Hall 6pm ADR princess storybook dinner 20th Sep - Discovery Cove all day - eat off site 21st Sep - ADR Chef mickeys 8am, Blizzard Beach all day, Hoop de Doo musical 7.30pm showing 22nd Sep - Free Day to relax/re visit, 5PM head to Mickeys not so scary halloween party, no ADR today 23rd Sep - AM return car, Epcot AM, ADR Le Cellier 1.30pm, Afternoon free to revisit 24th Sep - All day free to do anything we have missed, or loved that much we want to go back! ADR Ohana 7pm 25th sep - Morning by pool or use Extra Magic Hours and squeeze in a park visit, 4pm depart for airport I have tried to use charachter & signature dining so the whole holiday doesn't revolve around a sit down meal every day and we get some chill out time which looking at this we will need! I'm not sticking like glue to this but want to make the most of our time as don't know when we will get back. We are staying at SSR so close to DTD for evening, and we will make use of extra magic hours where we fancy - thoughts? |

I think it all looks really good... just one suggestion, maybe choose Mama Melrose over Sci-Fi diner. The last two times we ate there (Sci-Fi) we were very disappointed and for the first time ever in any restaurant we had to send the food back it was that bad! (this is just our opinion-Im sure others love it!) Also the shows in there are just adverts not films or short films and if you are there more than an hour or so it goes around again and if you have to send food back you will be!
Everything else looks great lots of our favourite restaurants on there!

OMG - We got them all! Well a tiny change in the date for Fantasmic to the 18th and couldn't get sci-fi or mama Melrose so switched to Hollywood N Vine but I think considering that ALL our times and 1st choices were there isn't a bad comprimise! The Cast Member was FANTASTIC and SOOOOOOO helpful (a bit overly excited for me I think! ). Need to call back for our last day as I was outwith the 10 days. I was almost an hour on hold but boy it was worth it!

Well we get an entry to Busch Gardens OR Seaworld with our DC day so we were just doing the one to keep costs down - given that we have AK at Disney do you think it would be better to switch from Busch Gardens to Sea World? We do like rides and thats why we picked Busch Gardens because we have dropped Universal to do DC, the dilemmas!
