Alamo on-line check in

I'm flying with Virgin and have been told that I can do on-line check-in prior to arrival, saving time at the desk. I cannot find anything else on this however. How does this work without actually seeing anyone? I have the full platinum package insurance and have been told I wont need to wait at the desk, but how do I choose my car and collect the keys if I don't ask at the desk?

Please, anyone who has 'done this', can you help?

Going shortly and have already completed on line check in. From what I have read on posts you just go to the parking garage and pick your car which will have the keys in and then drive to the exit where they scan your paper work and off you go. All sounds very easy ... will find out in a few days

Yes really is that easy. Guy in garage directed us to correct category cars and away we went, no queue, no hard sell, perfect after a long flight.

Just google 'Alamo online check in Virgin' and follow the link there to register. Keys are in cars as previous poster said.

We did it this year, coupled with a super quick immigration we were off the plane, through immigration, luggage collected and into the car in 45 mins.
You print off the paperwork then take it to the little Virgin Pit Stop booth in the Alamo garage, guy checks the paperwork, gives you a map (and car seats if required) then points you in the direction of your row to select from.

This sounds great & so much easier than having to keep saying no thank you to the hard sell at the desk :-)
