Yep, though I'm not sure you can fly Monterey to San Diego anymore. The shuttle from San Francisco to Monterey was pleasant enough and we enjoyed the train ride to Anaheim ( apart from the missing stairs  ) You don't need a car in San Francisco or Anaheim and when I'm on holiday I prefer to sit and watch the scenery than get behind the wheel.
