DVC could well be a good option but I'd really encourage you to try and book something now - it doesn't always work well for last minute stays! Check out the DVC board

The last paragraph just meant Princess Half Marathon weekend (which ilivehereorlando had found a great last minute room discount for) was not necessarily a good comparison for when you're going, as the PHM is offpeak rather than peak. Albeit there are loads of runners
