blood pressure and statin meds

sorry if this is in the wrong place but my daughter in law has just got a quote for ins and it has gone up over £200 the only difference is that she is now on statins.are any of you on both if so who did you go through for ins.

also son had a suspected blood clot last year but has now got all clear no further visits does he have to declare it

You maybe need to look at other insurance companies and get other quotes. There is a medical reason why she has to take statins and it's that the insurance company will be interested in.

Last year we used Coverforyou.com

2 adults for 14 day Florida single trip =£88

We both have Pre existing medical conditions -mine are pretty minor and don't add much to the cost but my DH has both High Blood Pressure (tablets taken to control) and High Cholesterol (for which he is on statins) which normally makes the premium soar

Hunted around for a decent quote and cover and found Coverforyou very reasonable .

I used Insurancewith and with my history was pleased with the quote I got and yes, ALL medical history has to be declared otherwise you could void your cover.

My DH is on both statins for high cholesterol and BP medication and it's no where near £200. We use the AA.
