I'm glad this thread came back to life. Never realised you could order pickup from the Hyatt! Amazing tip.

I'll be doing this. How far is the walk roughly from collecting suitcases to walking to the hyatt?
Map above, it depends which airline and which belt the luggage arrives on. The entrance to the Hyatt is on the main floor.

used uber last year while on holiday in orlando and found it fantastic. I had bought tickets for the Itrolly last year but what a waste - uber all the way. we are hiring a car this year from the airport as we are driving down to clearwater for last leg of holiday but while we are there if we are eating out we will use uber if we want to have a drink with our meal.

Great tip thank you
Is the the hotel easy to get to from the airport
Is there signs to show you where to go
Sorry if I sound a bit silly but never been before and I'd get lost in a shoe box

OP I can understand people staying on I Drive relying on public transport and Uber but you are staying in a residential neighbourhood with nothing in walking distance. As you are planning lots of trips out I really think you will miss the convenience of a car.

On our return I think we'll probably use UberXL (thinking of all that luggage 🙈 ) but if we get a good price for a return transfer, we might just go for that.
We are going next week and I am looking at using Uber to get around. Used the estimator for airport to universal cabana bay and the price is between 65-82 dollars. Quote from quicksilver website is 70 one way or 125 round trip. Used quicksilver on last visit 5 years ago so will probably go with that. Like you say, you get the 30 mins stop and a phone call home!

I went with a private return transfer with someone recommended on another forum.

$100 return (MCO to HRH) with 30 min shopping stop on the way to the hotel. Another thing ticked off the list.

We are using a mix of quicksilver and Uber this trip 😁 quicksilver for the days we need to be at places on time as we will need a car seat and Uber for the days it doesn't really matter 🙄
