October 2012 Trip Plan

I've Just created a pre-plan, being Mr Organised, using the 'Holiday Planner' tool. As the trip gets closer, I will be modifying the plan, while researching the attractions. There have been a few new ones since our 2003 trip.

It helps reading other DIBBers reports, while my DW just lets me get on with it. You can't be too prepared!

We are going the same day as you. We are flying Thomas Cook also but from Gatwick. I have have had a look at your plan - looks to have a good amount of relaxing and water park days. I have done our pre- plan, but as we are going with others who haven't been before ours will be full on!

I've used Oct 2011 park times to give me an indication to their previous open/close times.

Edited at 10:37 PM.

Last time our final day was spoilt, as my kids were too Disney'd out. I've learnt you must incorporate those pool breaks, to keep everybody happy!

I'm trying to start planning by making a chart with all the days on it, and then marking in the things we know we're already doing on certain days-HHN and MNSSHP for example. Then we're going to sort out what ADR's we'd like and fit them around the other things. I can see that it's going to take some doing and there's only two of us!

I agree with you. We plan to do a couple of water parks, we have Discovery Cove booked and plan a day trip to Clearwater. Will also make sure the kids have some pool time at the villa. We will just need to be organised with our planning so we can cram it all in.
