OMG I cannot believe that this time next week will be the day we travel to Manchester! As we are getting stupidly close to our trip of a lifetime I thought I would do an update for you guys, first up I thought I’d give you a brief overview of our daily plans. They obviously vary slightly as everyone’s groups are wanting to do different things some days however this is our general plan.

Thursday 24th March 2016
My aunt flies out this day from Heathrow via Washington their flights are not the best timings wise and they eventually land at 12 midnight Florida time (ouch!). Then it will be picking up their hire car, checking in to the hotel and lots of sleep! For everyone else this is their last days at work, my mum and dad will be frantically finishing their packing ready to fly the next day. I have to collect my dress this day from the shop and me and Jay are hoping to take our tortoise to its holiday home this day to avoid a mad rush tomorrow.

Friday 25th March 2016
Travel day for my mum and dad who are flying from Birmingham via Frankfurt. They land at 19.30 so the evening will we spent hitting Walmart and no doubt in the pool at the villa. Due to my aunt’s late arrival the day before they have a pool/rest/shopping day planned this day. Me and Jay will be travelling to Manchester on Friday afternoon and checking in at our airport hotel ready for an early night after grabbing some food at the airport.

And that is our action packed fortnight we are all getting super excited now! We have finalised most things for the wedding now, we have all our timings for the day we just need to inform all of our vendors of a room etc. when we arrive.

I have finalised the gift baskets for the kids with Mockingjay services and these will be delivered on Saturday 26th March 2016.

I have added dollars to our prepaid card to pay for the wedding meal and we already have some spending money, the rest of the spending money I need to order ready to collect next Thursday on payday as we are currently skint!

I have completed online check in for the hotel and have changed my magic band to the newly available purple band YAY!

The cases are out of the loft and currently our spare room is full of clothes, wedding stuff and suitcases so hopefully this weekend me and Jay are going to look at packing some of it. We are taking my dress as hand luggage and my parents are taking a cabin suitcase with all the shoes, the suits and the bridesmaid dress in with them.

Phew I think that is all to update for now! We will try and do one more update before we leave! Thanks for reading!
