We looked into it for our West Coast trip this year but the cost of everything we would have had to hire & mileage etc made it impractical. It won't be a cost saver but I can see the attraction.

One thing to bear in mind is that once you have parked up, you are essentially without transport unless you want to pack everything up again. Might be helpful to bear in mind when planning activities, eating out, shopping etc.

depends what you have out, we disconnected the power and water in under 5 mins and drove away into town or to find a walmart

we loved our rv trip, i think alot of people think it is harder than it really is, yes you need to plan things a little more but oh well 5 mins of planning and you can go anywhere
