There are always plainer options, don't worry. Have you looked at the whole menu? Have a look at the excellent disneycruiselineblog to see whole menus of all restaurants.

Sorry, forgot to say about your room.
8508 is most of the way forward on the Dream with only a few other rooms nearby, so that tends to stop a large amount of foot traffic going past. You'll be near the forward elevators which is good, but as you're most of the way forward, if you need to go to aft, it's a bleddy long walk! You'll have a nice view of Castaway Cay from your big window so that's a bonus. All in all, there's no room that's bad, but each one has its positives and negatives. Hope that helps Joa

Hi,
We are booked on the Fantasy in August for a seven night Western Caribbean cruise, our room is 8178 which I think is near the back...ok stern! Any thoughts? John |

Hi John
I'd definitely try to swap to the other side if possible as it will give you a much nicer view of Castaway Cay. You're on the port side right now. Being aft (back), you may feel some vibration when docking, but you're not docking all day every day, so I wouldn't let it worry you that much. We were in room 9670 on the Dream a few years ago and I would suggest that if you can move into this room, 8682 or 7668, you would have a larger room and balcony, plus great views of CC. It does mean moving up a category to a 5e and they're probably not available, but worth asking. Joa

Joa, We should have a verandah, is that different to a balcony? Not too bothered about view of CC as I will be in it all day I can assure you! Thanx for your help, can`t wait. John

The ones I mentioned have huge balconies/verandas but are a higher category.

For Disney Cruise Line, no. Itineraries are expected to be released around Feb/Mar time.
