Miami with a 16 year old?

We were thinking of going to Miami for a week next summer with DD who will be 16.
Any hints, tips and advice on things to do and places to stay much appreciated.

We are also visiting Miami with our 16 year old daughter - so I look forward to any replies to this.
The only advice we have is take plenty money!

We have just been in Miami with our 16 yr old and 13 yr old( boys). That was our second visit.We stayed in a private apartment just off Lincoln road mall. We stayed 4 nights ... Lots of nice shopping, great people watching... My 16 yr old loved it!
We have previously done the HOHO bus tour but this time we did the pirate duck tour ( not piratey at all , my two were glad to learn), great tour on land and sea , looking al all the celebrity homes, driving along ocean drive , it was v good.
We went ten pin bowling and used the deco bikes to cycle lummus park . Any other questions just ask ( we are still in Florida , go home Friday )
