Halloween memories
We just got back from our trip this weekend.
DH, DD7, DD6 and me. Saturday, 18 Oct. Our wakeup-call was at 5 am, from our house it's a 4.50 hour drive to DLP. The drive went really well and at 11 we were in our room at the Cheyenne hotel. The cm working behind the desk was really nice and told us it was really busy this weekend. There were no good times for breakfast available only 10.30 (! ). The room was ok, clean and every thing worked. The girls had a small tiff about the bunk bed. But were allowed one night each as our stay was 2 nights. Before noon we were in the park. It was a beautiful day and the crowds didn't bother us. We did a lot of rides, our youngest did the BTM for the first time (and last time this trip ) We had a early dinner (4 p.m) at the cowboy cookout bbq and spilt 3 menu's between us 4. The food was ok, we had a lot worse in DLP. After the 5.30 parade we went to the studio's, did a few things (a lot was already closed) and at 8 the Ratatouille-ride was under an hour wait. So we went for it, what a great ride! We would have loved to ride it again but we didn't managed to get a FP. And the queue was around 70-80 minutes the rest of our trip. DH did the TOT and loved it, as usual. DD7 wanted to ride it, but we are saving the memory for Florida as Paris is a lot scarier. After 9 we went to the back for Dreams this was our first time seeing it. And we had a great spot, in front of the grass and with a fence for the girls to stand on. Unfortunately 5 minutes before the show people start climbing over the fence and standing in front of us blocking the view DH asked them to sit and most of them did, but is was quite rude. (Then we begun to miss WDW) The show was great, and really tired we went back to the room Edited at 06:28 PM. |

Sunday 19 Oct.
We decided to skip the EMH and sleep in, We woke up at 8.30 (normally the girls wake up dat 6.30). At 9.30 we had breakfast (they don't care about the time on our card) and ate it outside because it was a lovely day. We walked to the park and the crowds were busier, so we did a few things and waited 2 times for a ride that shut down :s After a few hours we went to the Disney Village for some shopping and food. Yeah yummie Earl of sandwich and a happymeal for the girls. Had a break in our room... And at 6 went back to the parks, did BTM in the dark with parent switch. And some more rides. We didn't wait for dreams this time Edited at 02:30 PM. |

Monday, 20 Oct.
The alarm went at 7.30 We skipped breakfast (had a muffin instead) checked out and put our luggage in the car. At 8.30 we walked in the EMH. But even then it was really busy. PP was down, we waited 30 min for Dumbo, did the teacups, the carrousel and made some photo's. We then had a date, with DD6's boyfriend who was there with his parents. He has a EAC card (so sad in a few years time we have to say goodbye ;'() and my DD's did a few rides with him. At noon we said goodbye and went to the studio's for our last few hours. Had an early dinner at Les Cascadeurs, a fav of ours. DD7 an DH went on Crush and waited 50 minutes (not to bad). DD6 and me did Animagique and cars again. At 5 we where back in the car and we had a great ride back. We were home before 10. With a lot of great memories <3 This is so important, life can be cruel and to short. Enjoy it! High
-Pin trading, we got a set (25) from ebay and every month that passes until WDW we give the girls a pin. Since they already had 7 they decided to bring them with us and did some great trading. The ugly pins were swopped for big and beautiful ones. -Halloween on mainstreet, how beautiful <3 -The whole trip was great, better then we expected, the weather was lovely, the girls were happy. -Did all the rides we wanted (skipped a few shows and the characters because of the time.) Lows. -crowds (even the calendar said low for sunday and monday) especially at dreams. -rudeness - how many rides were closed early or shut down during the queue. |

Great pics.
The weather over the weekend looked stunning, we just missed it by a couple of days, although had decent weather. FD
