PIF date and cancellation period for med cruises
I have noticed my PIF date for our med cruise on 1st June is February 1st but on the uk T&C's on DCL website it states penalties start at the 89 day point. Whereas under the USA T&C's it states 119 days.
We have paid in dollars but I presume we are bound by the uk T&C's. This would give us an extra month to keep an eye out for offers. I have emailed DCL but I thought some of you may know the answer. Thanks |

Sorry, I don't know the answer but would be interested in what DCL tell you so we can let others know.
We always book through a US TA as the terms and conditions are better.

They have just replied but with all the cancellation details for a US sailing. I have sent it back reminding them that it is a Med Cruise.
DCL did confirm that the loss of any deposit paid is just that. So if you paid 10% its 10% but if you paid 20% then its 20%. I will post once I get a correct reply. |
