Praise for characters at DLP.
Just back from a two night stay in DLP.
I have to say the amount of characters and the time they spend with people is amazing. The performers and cast members seem to make such and effort with guests. Stitch was magic: being bad and lobbing bags of sweets at people. Mickey and Minnie spent so much time and care with people. Plus DLP was treated to Cheshire Cat and Marie being available for meet and greets and who are not around in the American parks. Well done DLP and to their performers and cast members. |

That's so nice to hear. We're popping over to Paris on Monday and then going to DLP on Thursday next week - can't wait to see the Halloween theming, never been in the autumn before

We come back about two weeks ago and I was so impressed by Stitch (although the line moved very very slowly lol) Goofy was also fab, he was walking back to backstage and grabbed me by the arms - skipping along with me - was fab.
I wasn't impressed by the princesses at all though xxx |

Is it unusual to see adult-only groups in line for characters?

Not at all. I'm a solo visitor in my 50s and always queue up to meet characters apart from the princesses, I'm not bothered about them. A real favourite during my 2014 trip was with Captain Hook and Smee. Here's a photo

I dont meet the princesses so i cant comment.
Yes Stitch spent so much time with people that i waited about 50 minutes to meet him. In America the wait would have been 15/20 minutes. Just shows you how much time the characters spend with people in DLP. Plus having a photopass photographer with characters slows the lines right down. Goofy has so much more energy in Paris. |
