Laptop Speed Increase
I have a Dell Vospro laptop and have recently found that it has become quite slow and 'struggles' when I do video editing, it is not an old laptop so I'm not going to replace it however I was wondering if I could buy some sort of hardware that would increase its processing power.

Try reformatting the laptop. This will make it like new and have a major impact on the performance.
Also, Does it have a solid state disk? If not, this will make a huge difference. It is very unlikely to be a processing power issue if it is reasonably modern. How much memory does it have? |

Memory is usually the first and obvious upgrade.

It's not a cheap option but I had a very similar thing on my laptop. It's got a good processor and 8gb ram but it was so slow and sluggish. Basically the HDD was run too hard so I replaced it with a 1tb SSD. It's like a new machine! Unreal performance and everything is lightening quick.
