They're due to be finished tomorrow. I was there last week and there still looked to be a fair bit of cosmetic work left to do, but the pool was finished and filled, the stream was running again and they'd started to take down the scaffolding in places.

Hi Adora how did you enjoy the Beach Club compared to wilderness lodge and do you have any plans to go back?

I loved WL when we stayed there before, but BC knocked spots off it, I don't know if I'd want to stay anywhere else now. The location was amazing and being able to walk into Epcot and to HS, and around the Boardwalk at night was a massive plus for us. The hotel itself was beautiful, and whilst the lobby wasn't as breathtaking as WL, there was just something about it that made it a whole other level from WL. I did enjoy going back to WL, but didn't miss it like I'd expected to.

ETA-we're planning another stay at BC in Oct 2016. We're currently looking to buy DVC, but won't have done it by our next stay, but will be looking at BC as a possible home resort.

I really like the look of BC and am hoping if we can go back to stay there, it looks brighter than WL (I know the dark wood is part of the theme). I'm keen to see WL post renovations as it was very disappointing to not see the place at it's best when we were there in Oct.

It's an absolutely beautiful resort, I love WL but for me BC is just perfect, definitely stay there if you get chance, you won't regret it!
