Alamo drop off/ pick up times-clarification
I need to clarify pick up drop off times from Alamo through VH.
I have upgraded my car from a compact to intermediate but the time states pick up 6pm drop off 2.30pm. I land at 1420 on VS075. Am I correct in thinking that you just pick up the car at whatever time you arrive...say pick up 1530 (wishful thinking) and as long as you drop off before 1530 it will be ok...i.e not going into another 24 hours? Hope this makes sense! Many thanks |

That's right, you can pick up the car as soon as you get there. Also I am pretty sure that with VH and Alamo they give you a couple of extra hours free leeway on the end so you could pick the car up at 1530 (fingers crossed ) and not drop it off until say 1630 for your flight home with no extra charges.
This is useful if using DTD check in so you are not sitting in the airport for 3 hours unneccessarily. Check with them though - I know they did this in 2008 but with the Virgin penny pinching going on at the moment they have probably stopped it |
