Linking magic band help

Hi I hope someone can help me, I am staying offsite and will have a 4 day Magic your way ticket. I posted before about wanting a magic band for my gf for Xmas and someone has very kindly offerd to buy me some in Florida. My question is do I link my magic your way ticket first or my band? Can I add the magic bands later on ?

Logically any offsite people who intend buying magic bands (including myself for this December) will have no choice but to add ticket first as we need to make our Fastpass reservations. My 30 day windows start from next Monday, I already have my tickets linked but I won't be buying magic bands until Dec 5th or so (before my 1st park day).

You can link them in any order, it doesn't matter. So, yes, you can link the magicbands later.

Obviously, if you've only got your tickets at the 30 day mark you'll want to link them to your account in order to book your fastpasses - and then link your magicbands later.

Thanks I will be buying my tickets in a few weeks and someone is brining me my bands back from Florida. So I can link my tickets when I get them and then add the magic bands any time after?

Useful information as we had intended to buy our magic bands on our first day at MK and then link them
But we have friends going in May so might ask them to bring them back fir us

Daft q from a newbie, why are you all so keen to buy magic bands & link them? Are you all staying off site, as we are? Is this something I need to do as well?

I'm getting them as giving my gf hers for Xmas plus you use them as your park tickets and your fast passes, I think you can also make purchases but not sure how you do this if staying offsite

If you are not lucky enough to have someone to bring magic bands back for you before the start of you holiday, is jt easy to purchase them when you get to the 1st park and get them linked ?
