Wheelchair hire

I have just been told by my GP that I have severe osteoarthritis in both knees and she wants me to go on the list for new knees.
I am booked to go to Orlando next May and am now looking into hiring an electric wheelchair when we are out there. Does anyone have an experience of hiring wheelchairs out there and could perhaps recommend someone.

I recommend Randy's 100%... i phoned then when we were out there in May... it was a Sunday & was expecting them to deliver one for Monday... But oh no i within 2 hours they delivered on that day

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. There are a number of useful website located here for hiring wheelchairs and scooters while in Orlando. If you just want a wheelchair for in the parks you may be better off renting one while you are in the parks.
Park hire costs: Wheelchair Fee:
$12.00 rental per day (no deposit required)
$10.00 per day for Length of Stay rental
When purchasing a Length of Stay rental, upon arrival at a theme park, you can show your receipt and will bypass the queue with little or no wait. NOT AVAILABLE FOR ECV'S.
The EVC Fee: $50.00 per day Rental - $20.00 refundable deposit.
Also remember if you are going to hire a wheelchair from an offsite company, remember you must be able to put it into you hire car.
