Question Question re Hertz car hire

Hi All

Just a bit confused on something

I booked our car hire with Hertz in their sale last year I booked in my OH name(driver) but paid with my debit card I emailed Hertz and asked if this was ok and they said yes because I would be with him but he must bring his own credit card in his name.

Today my debit card has expired and my new one sent do I now take both of these with me and OH'S credit card

Thanks in advance for your help

Well I will be the same, as our credit card I booked with expired, so the one I take will be the new one!

I admit I hadn't even given that a second thought, as I'm sure this must be a daily occurrence for them, as people get new cards all the time, don't worry sure it's fine.

I'll find out soon enough if is isn't!

No problem with the card used for booking expiring. Just take the new one with you. It happened to me last year with no problem.

Same here - I booked in last years Hertz sale with my debit card but with DH as the driver.

Barclays sent me a new card as they had increased security and I just cut my old one up without thinking.

No problem when we picked the car up last month DH just needed his own credit card - enjoy
