Just to let you all know, we chose cocoa beach and had a great time! Lots of parking and there was a stall selling drinks, hotdogs, crisps etc. toilets that were clean were also in the parking area. Had a great day, boys loved it! Thank you all for your advice!

We spent a blissful afternoon in the waves at Cocoa Beach last year Near to the traditional wooden pier, verrrry American.
We found the cheap easy parking just behind the pier

Didn't fancy the beach itself at Daytona personally, maybe as we'd had such a perfect time at Cocoa, or that it seemed too big and built up, .
