I've been to Benidorm in April, some days were really sunny shorts and t-shirt weather other days not so pleasant so i'd take clothes for all weathers.

We're calling in on a Med cruise next week and of all the places Mallorca seems the coolest at the moment and has been rainy. I've found Spain can be really warm this time of year if the sun is out otherwise it can be a bit chilly if cloudy so layers are good!

We were last there in April 2013 when it rained almost daily however we've been in April before and everyday was glorious.

I like to go in April or September so I usually pack for cooler evenings but the days are normally short and Tee shirt weather, apart from April 2013 which I think was unusual for it to rain daily.

We went a few years ago to Majorca over Easter - it was the year there was a heat wave over there. I had friends texting me every day about the lovely weather. Sadly for us, it rained pretty much every day in majorca, and we had a pretty miserable holiday. Personally, I wouldn't risk going that early in the season again, but I'm sure plenty of others will have stories about how nice the weather has been for them in April, so we might have just been unlucky!
