Hello Penny

Can I clarify something with you please.....

If I buy breakfast using my fairfx card, then lunch....can I use my card to buy dinner??

I was under the impression it works exactly like a debit card. If there is enough money on the card then why limit the number of purchases one makes?

When i said purchases i meant when you load your card here in the UK, not when buying goods in the US.

It does work exactley the same as a CC & DC as long as you have enough funds on the card you can use it as many times as you like when your on holiday.

I think the terminology 'purchase' relates to how many times in a day you can top up/add dollars to your card.As long as you have cash on the card you can keep using it.

I've just tried to do this and it has come back saying they cannot verify my id from the info I have given- gave driving liceine no but not passport- any one else had this.
Could it be because I wanted to buy £1000 and an a new custmer?

I have just gone for one and would like to know how you can check your balance or do you have to keep a note of all your purchases.

Thanks to whomever posted this thread I did not have a clue what people were writing about but I have just ordered one for my husband as a surprise for him and Put $500 on it for £249.88, well impressed with that, I had to do it a few times for it to accept as I had missed off one number on my husbands passport so I redid it and it has gone through okay, a great exchange rate and less cash to carry. thank you
