We love this little place, situated on the corner of Main Street. It’s light, bright and airy with some pretty art deco theming.
The menu’s not too fancy - burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, ice creams and the most delicious hand-dipped milk shakes.

We eat here every trip now but I don’t always take pics of our food or report on it, as our very simple but tasty order has remained the exactly same for quite some time.

The Plaza serves the thickest, fruitiest, creamiest strawberry milkshake in the world, so we have to order one of those as well. There's as much milkshake in the metal cup as there is in the glass!




We had been at the Magic kingdom since before park opening and as we’d skipped breakfast today our tummies were rumbling, so we turned up at the Plaza at 11:45am and swapped our 1pm adr for a much earlier lunch.
We ordered the usual but when our food arrived I was disappointed to find they’ve stopped serving my favourite crispy, crinkly fries and also my burger wasn’t half as juicy as previously. Paul said his veggie burger tasted unusually dry. The yummy char-grilled flavour was missing too.
I wondered if it was because we were there just after they had opened -perhaps the grill hadn’t had a chance to really get hot, because our burgers tasted ‘warmed up’ rather than freshly grilled.
They weren’t horrible - but they were just average.
But the burgers at the Plaza have never been just average - they’ve always been brilliant! Easily as good as the burgers from Beaches and Cream.
Hopefully there was just a temporary blip with the grill that day and that normal service has been resumed. It would be a tragedy if it hasn’t.
You can bet we’ll be going back to find out for ourselves (we’ve had far too many good meals there to cross it off the list because of a mediocre burger) but if you visit the Plaza soon, please let me know if your burger is fab or drab!

PS the strawberry milkshake was as scrumptious as ever.

What a pity it wasnt up to scratch Su. Still, they look yummy ... and the milkshake - it looks absolutely scrummy.

Such a shame the burgers weren't up to par this time. They actually look really good, particularly the veggie one!

I wasn't aware they did veggie burgers here and the veggie sandwich has never been my thing.

As you say it was probably an off day. Hope your next trip there is better.

I love the Plaza, I'd be really sad if I thought it was going downhill. Hope you just hit it at an off moment, such a shame when you have high expectations

Yes we stopped here last trip and I've booked an ADR again for this trip. Nice little place with good value for money at table service.

The grilled Rueban sandwich was good and the banana split wonderful.

I've never been to the Plaza before and was thinking about it for this trip as something new and different. I think I still might when tummy rumblings happen and we are close at hand.

Disney do seem to have finally realised that if they are doing a meaty burger somewhere it is not a huge amount of hassle to do a veggie equivalent and I personally say "Hoorah!" for that!
