Yes,I Know It's Over A Year Ago - intro

Yes, this trip report is over a year late - we went 13th August 2007! We are currently in the throes of planning our next trip in August 09 and, while looking through the box of stuff we brought back, I came across all the notes I had made. Nigel started to say, ‘Where was that place we ate in Animal Kingdom?’ and I was squinting to make out what I had scrawled down so decided to write it all up – and here it is! I'm much more of a lurker than a poster but love reading trip reports so it seemed a shame to waste all those notes.

There were 3 of us – me, Nigel and Stephen, 7. We love Disney and had already had four trips to DLRP but had been saving our pennies for Florida. (We are both teachers so had to be school holidays.) I was really lucky as a child – my dad worked for British Airways so we had four trips to Florida when I was younger – the first was in 1978 or 9 when there was only the Magic Kingdom. I have a lot of happy memories and couldn’t wait to share them with the boys, who were going for the first time.

We flew with TCD and were staying in a villa. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary while we were there and had a night booked at AKL.

Anyway, here goes!

We went in Oct 2007 and go back Sept 09 x
