A kids point of view! Day 2

Sunday 21st September

All up at 5am! Dad heard a noise outside so went out to investigate and he saw a racoon under our car.


We went swimming in the pool, showered and got dressed. Haydn slipped over in the kitchen and smacked his head on the floor.

We left the villa at 7.30 and drove to Ponderosa for breakfast (Yum Yum) and then headed to Animal Kingdom.



As soon as we got there we had some pictures taken with characters from Pocahontas. We then headed to the Kilamanjaro Safari which was brill, we saw giraffes, rhinos, crocs/gators, ostriches and lots more. Afterwards we walked around the Pangari forest trail and saw meerkats, gorillas and lizards.



When we went on the Kali River Rapids Jane, Mum, Dad and Megs got absolutely soaked it was so funny but also nice for them as it was 82f. We then walked over to Expedition Everest it looked really cool so we queued for it, it only took about 20 minutes. We enjoyed it so much we got a fast pass ticket to go again!

We were so hot we got an ice cream, they were huge!



We went back on Expedition Everest which was even better the second time. Then we went to watch the Nemo show, which was amazing.




As we were leaving we caught the end of the parade which was great and Mickey waved at us. On the way out Mum took us to customer services and told them it was our first time here so the lady gave us a ‘1st time badge’



On the way back to the villa we stopped off at a Nike store and most of us brought new trainers. Then onto Walmart which was an absolute disaster as it was so huge everyone wanted to go different ways. Back home to eat and in bed by 21.30.

Animal Kingdom was one of our favourite parks - although we all chickened out of a second go on expidition everest and gave our fast passes away to another family.

I thought Everest was so much better the second time too, first time I was too scared to notice much of it!
