Day 4 NYC Shopping/NY Rangers
Cast of characters
Me Steve (highlander447) DW Jacquie DB George (Big Geo) DSL Joanne Todays pretty short as we shopped from 10 till 4pm Up around 7 this morning, called Geo to arrange to get Ipod charger back, we arranged to meet at 9 after they had been up the ESB,wr had a stroll in Central Park then we got subway to Times Sq then walked to ESB and had a seat on bench to wait, Geo and Jo enjoyed the ESB got the charger back and we decided to have breakfast together as we had separate plans for today, we had a full Irish breakfast in a nearby bar but there was no soda scone so not really as good but it filled a hole and was nice and with cash left over from Mum and Aunty it was free, we said our goodbyes Geo and Jo where heading to SOL as they had crown tickets for noon, we had passed on this a climb would have killed us, we had a day of shopping planned and that's exactly what we did, we bought gifts for DS and DD and DW managed to get quite a few new items after shopping we had a juice at a nearby cafe then headed back to room to store shopping, showers and changed we headed out back to the Garden as I had tix for NY Rangers game against Buffalo Sabers, we ate opp the Garden at a cafe we always use they do great Gyros and they are huge, then headed over to Garden to pick up our tix, the game was entertaining although not as good as the basketball but the fans are more combative and there where quite a few incidents of abuse Rangers got beat in extra time, after the game we got the subway back to hotel, I had a couple of beers then to bed
