Loved reading; we're staying at the Beach Club in August so I was looking for tips. Sounds great being close to Epcot; how long did it usually take you?
Thanks.

It's a 5 minute walk (honestly) from the BC door to the International Gateway; and a lovely 10 minute walk round the lake to the Boardwalk. You will find that you pop into the World Showcase quite a bit, especially on the evenings for a walk around and a drink, it's the best part of staying at the Epcot lake resorts.

Thanks good to hear; we were hoping to do this when we get back from Universal etc. there seems to loads of places we want to eat at. Was there enough choice at the Marketplace for breakfast and is that where you get the drink refills from?
Thanks.

The Marketplace isn't a food court like at the larger resorts, but it has all 'made fresh for you' food - sandwiches, flatbreads, soups, salads, wraps etc; and lovely pastries, cakes and ice cream. For breakfast we like the pastries and the freshly made yogurt fruit parfaits which we eat outside on the patio, reading the paper which you get delivered every week day (there's coffee making facilities). There's a fridge in the room, so if your grandchildren prefer cereal etc you could get a box, and milk for them to have.
The Marketplace is also well stocked for other foodstuffs as the people from the DVC villas shop there. We usually visit Publix at the start of the hol and stock up on cinnamon bars etc; or we use a snack credit at Main St bakery or the Patisserie in France as we leave the parks - for breakfast next day. The drinks machines are in the Marketplace. Over at the Boardwalk, the bakery is nice for breakfast too; there's also a pizza window for a CS meal.

Thank you for the info; every bit helps. We're getting ready to book our ADRs in a couple of weeks; lots of planning still to do.
Thanks again.

Just one question , which category of room did you ask for , we are in a standard and have asked for a full balcony or ground floor, so like you can sit with my coffee and paper ! Thank you again great pictures too x |
