Wedding Dress help please.

Hi. We have just decided to get married in Las Vegas in January (8 weeks time!) it will just be the two of us but I still want a nice dress. Looking for something fairly simple and classic and want to be able o wear it all evening when we go for dinner etc. Other half will be wearing a kilt.
So all you Dibb brides to be where should I start looking?

Debbie.

Thanks. Hadn't looked there and also hadn't considered a short dress. I quite like Anna ivory. Might go and have a look. Had also thought about looking in Debenhams? If I went to a wedding dress specialist shop how long does it usually take to order and adjust dresses? All new to me!

look at louisonweddings.com there is no shipping to the UK and if you order a standard size they come in around 3 weeks, lots of my friends have ordered gowns from them and are amazed at the quality for the little money, plus you can pay by paypal so you payment is covered

Thanks. There is so much to choose from. Think it might be worth me heading to a shop to try some styles on to narrow down my choice.

Monsoon do some great wedding dresses online, I bought mine from there, simple and really nice!

I had a look at Monsoon but they have very little. I'm wondering if it's a seasonal thing for them? I also looked at Coast and the selection was quite small also.

Yes they probably have more in the summer I know I saw in September time that they and Debenhams both had wedding dresses on sale.

You could try Wedding dress shops that have samples for sale.

From a bridal shop ordering and adjustment will probably take too long, unless you pick one they have on the rail, they do a lot of 'destination' dresses, less formal, easier to pack, need less ironing etc.
