Never Mind Epricot, I want to ride Splash Mtn again day 6

Our first full day at Magic Kingdom, yay! this is my favourite park. I have been waking up about 7.30 every day this holiday, if not before so I didn't set the alarm and woke up at...8am...aarrgghhh, I am destined to never ever make rope drop at this park...
I know I take a ton of these, but I never get tired of the view, and there was some low mist on the lake today

my camera doesn't do it justice really, it was lovely to look at!
we packed our trusty Tink tote bag and off we went, parked in Simba 14, and caught the tram to the TTC, we decided to catch the boat to MK as we've never done that before, so although we didn't catch rope drop, it was a first for us to see the castle from the boat..

It was nice when we arrived here, as we had been on most of the rides @ MNSSHP, there was no great rush to go on everything straight away.. so we wandered down main street to see the castle and the halloween statues in the light

Jess and I queued for the meet and greet with Rapunzel while the boys went off and got FP for space mountain and rode Buzz spce ride and Speedway, by the time they came back we were done, Jess loved it, (as did I)
while we were waiting, the adults can queue and the kids can colour

Check out Jessica's most unlady like stance, hunched shoulders, very bizarre, she did this all holiday - which looks just fabulous on the photos, nOT! it's not so bad here to be honest but not sure where she got it from... also note that the thing 2 top got removed for the princess photos!

Afterwards we all rode the Buzz ride again as we all love it!
Chris and I rode Space mountain using child swap, this was closed for refurb when we came last time so this was new - and boy, was this fast! so glad we didn't take Brandon on this, he would have hated it!
Next, the kids and I caught the show outside the castle whilst Chris nipped off to get Fast Passes for...you guessed it...Splash Mountain as Jess hadn't stopped going on about this ride, she was spoilt from it being so empty the other night, she didn't realise about the queues during the day...

By the time Chris was back it was time for our 12.15ADR at the Castle.

It is expensive here, without a doubt, if you are not on DDP, but I am so glad we did this. it can get mixed reviews depending on what time you go but our lunch was just lovely and we were set for the day after a 3 course meal!
and Jessica, well, she was just beside herself, as SHE GOT TO EAT IN THE CASTLE!
this was one of her highlights, and thats saying something, she's 5. normally when you ask her what was her favourite she looks at you and shrugs...
And as for Chris and I, well we got a wnad and sword each, and a signed card from all the princesses as it is our honeymoon, Jealous much? I bet you are!
After lunch we went to see Mickey's phillarmagic, I LOVE this! it reminds me so much of our first trip in 09, it gives me goosebumps, without the cold and this time round Jess enjoyed it instead of hating the 3D aspect so made it even better

we were going to go on Peter pan but the wait time was ridiculous (60 mins) and Fp return was too late...I don't get the rush for peter pan I really don't - we did in 09 (with FP) and I was less than impressed, I would not Q for an hour!
FP were up for Splash Mountain so off we went for that and all rode together, when we got off a couple of the photos were scrambled, as people had been doing 'inappropriate' things to the camera, why would you do that? spoils it for others in the car with you who may have wanted their photo, didn't affect us but still made me angry
We collected FP for Thunder mountain then headed off to meet Tiana,
Jess and I caught some of the parade whilst the boys held our places in the Q

I'm glad we got these photos as the photopass ones didn't work due to technical difficulties..
I went to the Christmas shop here, I could have bought everything in all honesy but settled on a sparkly 2011 tree decoration, can't wait to see it on our tree this year!
We all went on Thunder mountain and loved it, we were ready for hometime now though, but Brandon wanted to ride Pirates of the Carribean, which I'm also not a fan of but he wanted to ride so we did, and quite why I took this I don't know! and I got told off for using flash photography!

we did some shopping on Main Street, spent a fortune and then were home by 7pm and straight in the pool!
here's our massive american fridge, we both now want one of these!
