Fantasyland openings -December 6th! Yay!

The grand opening of New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World Florida, will take place on December 6, 2012. Attractions included in this opening are Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid, Be Our Guest Restaurant, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Ariel’s Grotto, Gaston’s Tavern and Bonjour! Village Gifts.

Previews of these attractions will begin November 19.
As previously planned, the New Fantasyland expansion will continue with the opening of Princess Fairytale Hall in 2013 and the debut of a new Disney “mountain” in the form of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in 2014.
The Storybook Circus section of the New Fantasyland expansion, which includes Barnstormer – Starring the Great Goofini, the Casey Jr. Splash & Soak Station, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant, opened to guests in July.

So its the the Christmas holidays and not Thanksgiving as we had hoped.
I wouldn't have seen it this October anyway, Oh well gives me a great excuse for August 2013

Hope this is a marked improvement on the Goofy ride, it's extremely short and not worth the wait, just did it to have th park covered.

Have you seen the plans for the new Fantasyland?!
It will be amazing and the themeing is incredible, I cant wait to see Storybook Circus in October and the rest of FL in 2013

So gutted we leave a few days before opening date! *breaks down into tears*

Though that probably isn't a bad thing; no doubt the park will be crowded & with a 3 year old who's madly in love with Belle & Ariel, & a ADHD / autistic 5 year old I can see me being more stressed than actually enjoying it lol.

Roll on 2014's trip! & to anyone who's going when it's open, I want pictures!

We are really going to miss this date but I have already decided that we need save for a 2015 trip for Ethan's 5th birthday when we come home

Soooooo excited, we're there when the new Fantasy Land will be opened, sadly we never got to see the original, but I'm looking forward to going in to Ariel's Grotto
