Monday 13th August - Celebration and MK.


Another lazy start today another dip in the pool before getting ready, I wish every day started like this but its never going to happen unless we win the lottery.

We leave the villa around 1 ish to head to Market Street Cafe, we have never been here before but have heard great things about it on the Dibb so we thought we would give it a try. Celebration is not what we were expecting at all we thought it would be quite quaint, a small little village kind of place, but in reality its fairly big with some huge buildings.


We find our way to MSC no problem, park right outside and are seated straight away.



I order beef stroganoff, Esther has Greek salad, Luke has fish and chips and Oscar has hot dog. All the food and service is really good. I would defiantly come back. Meal comes to $40 plus tip.
Off to MK next we do a quick detour to lost and found to see if Oscar’s hat has been handed in and to my total surprise they have! I could not believe it he is so happy
Because of our detour and loads of people being in lost and found we miss the parade... oops Esther not happy.
He head of to Splash Mountain to grab a FP the ride was down because of thunder and lightening as were all of the outdoor rides, we decided to rice Pirates of the Caribbean as did everyone else. We waited 45 mins a good ride not how I remembered it. We walked to tomorrow land and rode my fave rubbish ride The Carrousel of Progress. I do love this ride its naff but it has a certain charm to it. Oscar walked out from C of P and pointed to the People Carrier and asked to go on so we did we got some great pics from this ride.


We walked to the railway at Fantasyland and boarded the train after a short wait, to Frontier Land to use out FP for Splash Mountain then back towards Main Street we stopped off for a Dole Whip...yum yum!


We wandered around Main Street waiting for the Electric Parade to begin, we stood outside Tony’s Town Square.

Wishes started a short time after followed by fireworks, really enjoyed all of it.

We made a quick dash for the monorail and back to the car, then back to the villa and off to bed.

Ah the hat... couldn't believe it. We bought it at Legoland Windsor the day before we flew out to Florida. Esther was wearing it on Splash Mountain (see photo) and it nearly blew off going down the drop

Can't believe you found the hat, that's amazing! We adore celebration especially Market Street Cafe, it feels like coming home. Great pics of the train and from the People Mover at MK, another wonderful day.
