Gcse advice!

Trying to decide when is the best time to go next year as dd will be doing her gcse,s does anyone know when the timetables are announced for the exams ,we are hoping to go immediately as she finishes her exams but before the summer hols start?

Given the hassle with this years results I can see there being changes.

The exams are ongoing for some subjects the during yr 10 and 11.

My DD finished yr 11 this year and had 3 months off before starting 6th form, I think you should be fine booking mid July going before all the other kids break.

Just ring the school im sure they will advise you,it might vary depending on where you love

My sons GCSE,s finish on the 21st of June here in Newcastle

can i ask you the subjects that your dd did that involved coursework,is the work completed by the time they break up for easter or are they still working on coursework after easter?

Butting in to interject that the US & Scottish (to name two, no doubt there are plenty more) schools have their bulk of summer holidays in July so crowds won't be low just because the UK are still at school. But hopefully flight prices will be good!
