we are looking to book a disney hotel Would you recommend?

do park tickets get issued as paper tickets or added to the key to the world card?

Park tickets get added to your kttw card as do any disney dining package you may book.
As for recommending a hotel, there are so many great ones to pick from that I wouldnt know where to begin without a little background info, budget, party size and ages, what you look for in your hotel etc.

I'd be interested to hear about Charter Travel too. Last holiday was DIY but of course you ave to pay for flights in full.

We arranged our Xmas 2010 through Charter Travel and they were really good. I had done DIY before to tbh I could not get anywhere near their price trying to arrange it myself. We have booked for next August though Charter with provisonal indirect flights. We had to pay a nominal deposit £75 each but if we are not happy with actual flight prices we are enititled to a full refund. We done the same thing when we went in 2010 and the provisional price was spot on. We have dealt with Danny both times and would highly recommend him, really helpful and knowledgeable.

As usual you'll get both ends of the spectrum.

I used Charter Travel when we went in August 2011, although I didn't go with them for the flights in the end as the pre-release estimate they gave me soared when the release price came out.

However, I did use them for car hire and tickets and found them to be very competitive on price and very good on service.

I found the service to be absolutely fine, but I'm the sort that if I want an immediate answer I always phone rather than email, which is usually the best policy and not just with Charter.

If you search for threads you will find plenty about them so you can make your own mind up... although as I have suggested above you'll get such diverse opinions you might not be able to! I think the general opinion is that they're ok.
