Chazy & Ben Go West! 1/10/12 -#Universal Studios.

Woke up around 6am so had a flick through all the information books. We headed out for breakfast at mels drive in about 8am. I had rice krispies, toast and apple juice, Ben had eggs/bacon/potatoes with coffee which came to $28 inc tip. Definately the best breakfast for me so far!#

We hopped on the subway to universal city and then the shuttle to universal.#





We arrived at half 9 and headed to guest services to get our ticket with our go la card. We got in the park for opening and headed straight to the backlot tour. Next we did single rider for transformers - loved it! then Ben queued to meet optimus prime.#
Ben went on single rider for Jurassic park, came off wringing wet but it was so hot he was dry in no time! Next ride the mummy - amazing and maybe even better than Florida! Queued for Ben to meet bumblebee then headed back up the lot.#
First ride Shrek. Then stopped for a pinks hotdog cost $7, they had no beef. The turkey tasted no different to a normal! Next ride terminator - what a rubbish ride! We had a walk around city walk and headed to Saddle Ranch for dinner.
It's been another red hot day getting past 100degrees!#


Both Ben and I have a rib eye steak, me with mash & veg and Ben with veg and fries.

Ben has a beer followed by cider and I have a sprite. Including tip it comes to $90. I couldn't eat all mine, lesson learnt! Eyes bigger than my belly and what was left#could have fed a family! Also realised i'm over tipping by calculating after tax :-( Oh well its only a few dollars here n there! We then waited for the shuttle back down to the subway and go back to the hotel. I crash out about 9pm!

Did you do the halloween night? My bf did it this year, I was so jealous because I LOVE the walking dead. Looks like you had a good time, I loved some of the views by the universal city sign

Universal is a neat park. I love that long, long esacalator to the lower leverl.
