Chazy & Ben Go West 11/10/12 - Time to come home

We get up about 8 and potter around getting everything together, the shuttle is coming at 12.30 so plenty of time. We head down about 12.15, we decide to give away majority of the chocolate from Mickeys Halloween party as we already have tons of stuff! We kept the tootsie rolls/american stuff but gave away m&ms/skittles/twix's. The lady at reception was very grateful for the chocolate and said she knew some people who would be very appreciative!
We get through bag drop and security about 2.30, we didn't have to pay excess YAY! We stop for lunch of burger king, ben has bacon cheeseburger/fries with coke & I have a whopper/fries with sprite which comes to $20. I put my iPhone on charge and try to finish my trippie but the wifi keeps crashing. We start boarding about 4.45 and take off is on time at 5.35pm.


Our inflight entertainment isn't working and is not able to be resolved. We get offered a dvd player but I'm going to try to sleep or read my book. The flight is full so we can't be moved. About 7pm food is served, we both have beef as the chicken korma has ran out.
I sleep most of the flight as there wasn't much else to do! Around 9.30 breakfast was served.
As the ife could not be sorted they give us a bottle of wine & a £20 off our next booking! We landed around 11.30, managed to get through passport control & onto the earlier 12.30 national express. We get collected from the coach station at 4pm by Ben's mum who has made dinner of fresh veg, chicken casserole & roasted new potatoes :-D It's now 6.30pm and we have been awake 24hours!

Welcome home - what a great trip , sorry the IFE was crummy on the way home for you , some of these return flights seem to be a lot poorer than the outward ones
Have a good rest, after such a busy time , you will need another holiday

Thank you, it's weird to be home! Hehe yeah I'm glad it's the weekend to recover! I was glad to see the sweeties to go to a good home!
