Georgemac & Crew Oct 2005 - Day 3
Sunday 9th – Lazy day with shopping at premium outlets in between.
Got up, had breakfast and jumped in the chilly pool (we thought) again. Once you were in it was fine, I was sure the pool heating was not on due to the difference from our last visit. Management company notice said emergency call out only on Sunday so decided to give them a call on Monday. Tried opening the garage door, but key would not turn so did not force it. Using torch found the pool blanket but did not want to take it through the house so just left it. DW caught some rays (the weather was again fantastic) while we splashed around then we headed off to premium outlets at the bottom of International Drive. Had lunch in the food hall there – was OK, plenty choice. Did some serious shopping – DD aged 17 was not with us as she could not get off work so she deserved some pampering. I bought a pair of ray-bans from Sunglass Hut for $120, DS got a pair of Oakleys for $100 and DW picked a pair of Versace from the sale case for free. The Guess outlet got a good bit of business, along with some others. Premium outlets were very busy. Went back to the villa and had another splash in the pool – we still thought it was chilly. Not sure where we ate this night – DS is a fussy eater (nothing green or healthy will pass his lips – no water either – only coke!) so I think tonight set the trend – he probably had a McDonalds chicken strips drive through and we probably had take out Chinese at the villa. No pictures today - just a short report. |
