All, 10 adults (20 - 35) going 1st time next week, got the Universal 14 day unlimted passes - but not any disney passes
the first real day im there we all want to go MGM Studios but dont have tickets - i assume i can buy them there at the gates - will there be a big queue, any info on prices? - will i need to carry ID to obtain the tickets
i only want a day ticket, and then maybe go to animal kingdom later during the week.

Yes you can buy them at the gates, sorry I've no idea how much they are but yes you can just buy day tickets, on the question of ID, I would always carry ID with you when you are out and about in Florida, a black and white photo copy of your passport would be ideal, especially if you are wanting to drink alcohol, you will not get served in Florida without photo ID.
