Thomas Cook flights
Hi
I'm seriously thinking of booking with TC for our flights next August. Their Man-Mia route is working out at £2750 for 2ads and 2chds for 19 nights, with pre-booked seats. The $1m question - would Virgin or BA be close to this price when released? We're looking at 16/8 - 4/9. The flydrive quotes I've had are eye-watering (the lowest being £4500, although this is into MCO). Also, does anyone know what the IFE is like on TC and the leg room? From the seat plan it's a 2-4-2 seating plan on the A330. Thanks Charl

We have booked for next August for the first time with Thomas Cook the price was unbeatable.
Apparently all their planes are being overhauled with brand new stop start touch screen IFE screens!

Hi, I have used thomascook for the last 5 trip to Florida and can't fault them at all. They are upgrading a lot of there fleet now so most of the flights out of mancherster is on an upgraded plane. Thomas cook also now fly into MCO rather than Sanford. As far as the price, your the only one that can decide what's best for you, but I wouldn't hesitate booking through them. |

I too am finding Thomas Cook flights only for next August very expensive, working out at approximately £1000 each.
I would be happy to book with them, but am not happy with the price! I'm going to wait until October when hopefully the airlines will produce some competition and prices will reflect this as all airlines will be available to book through then.

I've just booked with Thomas Cook for next August but we are flying to NYC and returning from MIA - never flown with them before but the price was ok for the dates we need.
We are going with Virgin this year but we had to wait and book in the sale and return on 2nd Sept (miss a day of school) to get a sensible price. |

My TC flights this Aug were 680 each, if i'd of booked earlier they were even cheaper, Virgin and BA Etc have always been more expensive since i booked. If you have found a price you are happy to pay then book, as generally the prices to orlando only go up! If your thinking TC then try Netflights or Condor as these sites are often cheaper foe exactly the same flight and they are part of the TC group!

I've just booked with TC, having never flown with them before.
Manchester to Orlando return for 2 adults in June 2015 = £1021.96 Manchester to NY, then Orlando to Manchester (buying internal flights separately) for the same weeks as above = £1021.96 All flights are direct flights and I couldn't find any prices near to that even going indirect. Plus a lot of flights required us to return to Manchester via NY. It works out really well because DH & I are having 5 nights in NY and our kids are flying out to Orlando to meet us for our 2 week villa holiday there. It makes things so much simpler because we are all returning on the same flight. I was happy with the price so I booked. If there are cheaper flights later, so be it, but I am happy in the knowledge that I can book all the other parts of the trip now the flight dates are certain. Good luck Deb

I've booked Thomas Cook flying from Manchester-MCO for 2ad 2ch for next year - 18th June - 2nd July as the price was so good. £550pp.
I've not seen any indirect flights from Glasgow or Edinburgh that can beat that price yet. TC flights for the same dates from Glasgow are £680pp! I've not prebooked seats (our kids are 14) so can cope with being separated, but I'm not worried as I like to show up at the airport about 4 hours before the flight! Only issue I have with them is that Thomas Cook don't do OLCI for that route, but I'm hoping that may change by next year. Di x
